"The 24-year-old man, identified as Robert R., was bitten when he tried to calm his horse, which had become unsettled by the presence of a mare in the vicinity," a duty officer in the Baltic port of Szczecin told Reuters.
The horse went wild and began straining and bucking while pulling a farm cart through the village.
An autopsy would determine whether the direct cause of death was a severed jugular vein or damaged spine, the officer added.

I never said Muslim extremists were great people. What are you talking about? I believe I said they shouldn't be passed of as animals because many of them are very intelligent. THEY CAN USE THEIR INTELLIGENCE FOR MANY TERRIBLE ACTS. I also said that in my mind violence isn't the strongest method to defeat these guys. My thoughts in this area are heavily influenced by Richard Clarke who described from 20 years of experience his view of the middle east. I combined what he said with what others have said and what I have seen recently and came up with my conclusion. Making our enemy into an animal makes them seem weak, when truly they are a formidable enemy.
In case you didn't highlight my post. I am a proud Pol and actually made up some excellent kielbasa tonite for a potluck in my business class. Great stuff!
